A first website does not need fifty pages. It needs to answer three questions quickly: do you handle my kind of problem, are you nearby or licensed where I am, and how do I reach you?
The pages that matter
- Home — who you help and the one action you want a visitor to take.
- One page per practice area — what the matter involves, who it is for, and what the first consultation looks like.
- Attorney profiles — education, bar admissions and the areas each lawyer handles.
- Contact — phone, office address, hours and a short form.
Make contact easy on a phone
Most visitors arrive on a phone. Put the phone number in the header, keep forms short, and confirm what happens after someone submits a request.
Measure enquiries, not visits
Traffic numbers are less useful than the number of consultation requests and how quickly someone replied to each one.
