Most small firms do not need an SEO agency. They need a site that is technically sound, pages that match what people search for, and a consistent presence on Google.
Technical basics (should be included with your site)
- HTTPS on every page and fast loading on phones.
- One clear title and description per page.
- Structured data for your organization and breadcrumbs, a sitemap and clean URLs.
- Accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA) which also improves how search engines read the page.
Pages that match searches
People search for "divorce lawyer in [city]" or "estate planning attorney near me", not for your firm's name. Give each practice area its own page that names the city or county you serve, explains what the matter involves and says how to get in touch.
Google Business Profile
Claim and complete your profile, keep hours and address current, and ask satisfied clients for reviews where your state's rules allow it.
Publish occasionally, not constantly
A short article answering a question clients actually ask, once or twice a month, does more than daily filler. Keep an eye on your state's attorney advertising rules for anything that reads like a promise.
Measure enquiries
Track consultation requests and calls from the site rather than traffic. If a practice-area page brings the right kind of matters, write the next one like it.
